We are looking for someone who is motivated and eager to learn and wants to take the next step on their career ladder into a supervisory role. This is your opportunity to be in charge of your own team, develop them and work with them in a “hands-on” role.
You’ll be supporting the Deputy manager, planning and supervising the work of the potting team and ensuring stock quality. You’ll need to make decisions around effective resource allocation to ensure our output is maintained and targets achieved.
You must have some plant knowledge and have experience of procedures related to growing We need you to be able to work on your own initiative, be a troubleshooter and a great communicator too.
Due to our production and operational demands, a ‘can-do attitude is essential for the role. You’ll be juggling a variety of tasks and targets all within prescribed timescales and we’ll need you to keep an eye on quality at all times.
We’ll also need you to be flexible around working hours as you may be required to work additional hours when needed and there may be occasional weekend working.
